FAQ

Welcome to Your ArtShop Guide

What kinds of artwork can I find here?

We offer a handpicked collection of high-quality 2D visual art assets — including paintings and photography — specifically curated for film and TV productions. Our images are authentic, contemporary, and ready to help your sets look their absolute best.

How do I license an image?

It’s simple! Browse our collection, pick your favorite images, and agree to our licensing terms. After payment, you get instant digital access to your files, ready for you to download and use right away in your project.

What rights do I get with a license?

When you license an image from us, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it in one film, TV show, or video production.

Can I use these images on merchandise or for other commercial projects?

Not with our standard license. Our images aren’t cleared for merchandise, digital templates, logos, or branding without extra licensing. If you’re thinking of using an image in any of these ways, get in touch and we’ll help figure out what you need.

What if I want to use an image for a sequel, spinoff, or other related projects?

That’s outside the standard license too. Using images in sequels, spinoffs, or multiple productions means purchasing an additional license. Reach out to chat about your specific needs — we’re here to help.

What formats and resolutions do you provide?

Our images come in digital formats like JPG and TIFF, optimized for high-quality use in both print and digital media. We make sure the files meet the standards film and TV productions need.

How fast can I get my images after purchase?

Right away! Once you complete your purchase and agree to the license, you’ll have instant digital access to download your files. We know time is tight in production, so we keep it quick and easy.

How does pricing and payment work?

We keep pricing straightforward and fair. Typically, you’ll pay a deposit when you license an image and the balance when deliverables are accepted. We accept credit cards and invoicing options. Got questions? Just reach out!

Who can I contact for questions or special licensing requests?

We’re always happy to help. You can reach us anytime at andrea@cinemaartshop.com Whether you need custom licensing or help finding the right image, we’re here for you.

Important Legal & Policy Information

Terms of Use — What you should know

Image Licensing Policy

All artwork and photography available through ArtShop is licensed, not
sold. When you use our images, you’re agreeing to the following terms that
govern how they can and cannot be used.

What You Can Do

When you license an image from ArtShop, you’re granted a non-exclusive,
non-transferable, worldwide, and perpetual right
to use the image in a
single film, television series, advertisement, or other audiovisual production.
This includes:

  • Modifying or incorporating the
image into your project as needed
  • Displaying the image as part of
your project on websites, social media, mobile apps, and streaming
    platforms
  • Using stills that include the
image for promoting your project, as long as the image is not the main
    focus

What You Cannot Do

Our images cannot be:

  • Used in more than one project
    without obtaining an additional license
  • Used in merchandise like posters,
clothing, or greeting cards for sale or promotional distribution
  • Included in digital templates
    meant for resale
  • Used in any way that implies
endorsement by or affiliation with a third party
  • Used in a way that could be
    considered defamatory, obscene, or misleading

You also may not portray any model in a way that a reasonable person
might find offensive—including, but not limited to, uses involving adult
content, political messaging, or health-related implications.

Additionally, our images may not be used in:

  • Logos, trademarks, business
    names, or key art
  • Machine learning, facial
    recognition, or artificial intelligence technologies

Sublicensing & Subcontracting

Licenses are granted to the purchasing party and are not transferable.
However:

  • If you’re purchasing on behalf of
a client, the client can use the image (as long as you have legal
authority to bind them to the license terms).
  • Subcontractors (like a
post-production house or ad agency) may use the image to support your
licensed project, but not for unrelated work.

Other Legal Stuff

  • Refunds: Once an image is licensed, it’s
    non-refundable.
  • Copyright: ArtShop retains full copyright
ownership. Your license doesn't affect our rights to continue using or
    licensing the image elsewhere.
  • Security: You're responsible for keeping
the image secure and may store a backup for your own use.
  • Disputes: Any disputes are subject to
binding arbitration in the state of Georgia.

Summary

We’re here to make licensing easy and transparent for the film and
television industry. If you’re ever unsure about whether a particular use is
allowed, reach out—we’re happy to help.
